Spread across an expanse of approximately 7.4 sq miles, Coronado Island is a very beautiful place in the city of San Diego. A bridge named San Diego-Coronado Bridge connects the Coronado Island to the city of San Diego. On the other hand, the State Highway 75 connects Coronado Island to the Imperial Beach on the south. A small ‘island’ town, Coronado houses the Naval Base Coronado along with the Naval Air Station North Island. Also, the Naval Amphibious Base is situated in, where training for the elite SEALS takes place.
