Imperial beach is located downtown San Diego. It is a calm and quite place with some movements of hippie community hovering in and around Imperial Beach. The place is close to Mexican border. The beach has a park with facilities for picnic, playgrounds for volleyball, basketball and children. Imperial Beach fishing pier is also reputed for surf fishing. Those who are lovers of nature they get the privilege of visiting two popular sanctuaries like Tijuana South Natural Wild Life Refuge, Tijuana River Natural Estuarine Sanctuary and Border Field State Park.
There is also exciting shopping complexes located in south of the border of Tijuana. Visit to Grand Mas Pantry Restaurant and Bakery (875 sea coast drive), which sells off eggs, waffles and pizzas. There is also a free public speaking park, which is chargeable as per the guidelines of the Imperial Beach management. The free park falls on Daisy Avenue.
